About me

30 + years working in styles of Rock, Pop, Punk, Country, and Contemporary Christian. Fluent using backing tracks, click tracks, and running Ableton Live sets. Prefer to use IEM,s in all situations where monitoring is required. Have gear to play a big stage or a volume sensitive acoustic gig in the corner of a restaurant.

Can provide backing vocals and have all mics, cables, snakes, and miscellaneous adapters for the full kit and more.

I pride myself in being easy to work with and well prepared for a session or live show. I have developed my own system for charting songs and can be prepared quickly to learn your songs.

No drama, no drugs, and no excessive drinking on the job.

Although I am committed to certain projects my goal is to ultimately make music my retirement career and looking to book as many dates as possible.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my site and please visit my contact section and leave me note. I would love to hear from you and answer any questions you have and hear any feedback on my site.

Bio

My dream was always to be the guy on the stage that I was looking up at as a teenager who was playing drums. I got off to a good start right out of high school and found myself in a cover band that was selected to open for the "I were My Sunglasses At Night" guy, Cory Hart for one night at the local University.

I thought I was going places and then life happened.

20 years later I started having opportunities to perform again and hooked up with a Youth Worship Team band that went on to have some success in the Cincinnati market in the late 90's early 2000's.

Again, I thought I was going somewhere, and life happened.

After another 10-year setback I decided it was either go all in or throw in the towel. I spent about 5 years working through all the basics again re-developing my grip and all the technique that I never learned in my younger years which at this point had led to some physical issues.

I had been playing infrequently on Sunday Mornings the whole time I was away from music as a potential career but in 2019 I was offered the opportunity to join a well-seasoned unit to perform at Kings Island during their Fall Festival season.

The experience put a fire under me to continue pursuing my goal to be a working drummer. From that point on I have been working with the intention of drumming being the last job I would ever have. I have a good job; better than a lot of people I know and love, so I am forever thankful for that but it's not where my heart is.

So here I am today working with multiple projects in hopes that one will get me to that "Take This Job and Shove It" moment in my life where I can focus on drumming as a full-time gig. Whether it's a studio session, full kit bar gig, acoustic percussion gig, teaching, or sitting in with a local band I'm up for all of it to get me where I want to go.

Thanks for taking the time to look through my page.

My position is all things percussion with this project, from shakers, tambourines, Cajan's to a full drum kit.

This project is really just getting started and expect more activity in the future
